way of celebrating the birth of
Christ. An entire village is recreated with shops, stables stocked with
sheep and mules and such, Roman soldiers and Prefects, and the manger. Church
members donate their time and skills to help construct the illusion over
many weeks.
Our most popular event by far, The Bethlehem Walk is our
The end result, we hope, is to show what kind of world Jesus
was born into in order to save us
all. Many people tell us that they have a more "real" sense of
Christmas after walking through the "ancient" village, sampling
the wares of the street vendors and hearing the spreading rumours of a saviour's
arrival that night.
Our Easter drama traces the final
hours of Jesus' life leading up
to his crucifixion. Scene after
scene builds the account of the Gospel so that each person present is given
a clear account of Jesus' death and what it could mean to them.
Soup, salad, a main course and finally
a dessert are presented
between scenes allowing you to talk
with your guests as the Gospel is presented. While the drama ends with the
Crucifixion, the evening will not end without an opportunity to trust Christ
